This film is a masterpiece. Every thing of Wish I Was Here is outstanding. Wish I Was Here is a wonderful lesson in filmmaking for all aspiring directors. Wish I Was Here is not just a simple film, it has an everlasting message. There is no character in this movie that does not fit in. The directing by Zach Braff is always superb. I loved all of the actors, even the enemies of the main character. You know what? Wish I Was Here has changed my life. I mean my career. Storyline of Wish I Was Here
Wish I Was Here is the story of Aidan Bloom, a struggling actor, father and husband, who at 35 is still trying to find his identity, a purpose for his life. He winds up trying to home school his two children when his father can no longer afford to pay for private education and the only available public school is on its last legs. Through teaching them about life his way, Aidan gradually discovers some of the parts of himself he could not find.
