A really original film from 2013 year. If the watcher does not like Drama type of movies, he will watch the whole movie and have great fun. The storyline is carefully and smartly written, the characters development is very good written too. There are so many memorable scenes and dialogues in the movie that have become legendary in our world. Director made a lot of good work with brilliant writing and amazing cinematography. I liked the characters, all of them, even the antagonists were unforgettable, especially Lindsay Lohan. Not many "excellent" movies that have ever been released. Is The Canyons the best film of all time? I would put it in my top 5 for sure. Movie of the century for me.
