A really original film from 1984 year. If the watcher does not like Drama type of movies, he will watch the whole movie and have great fun. It tells important lesson about how you should live your life to it's fullness. Nineteen Eighty-four has one of the highest rates in IMDB top 250. Director made a lot of good work with brilliant writing and amazing cinematography. The acting is just incredible (especially Suzanna Hamilton, I'm sure no one expected that). Not many "excellent" movies that have ever been released. Is Nineteen Eighty-four the best film of all time? I would put it in my top 5 for sure. Movie of the century for me.

The main character is Winston Smith, an official of the Outer Party. He works in the Ministry of Truth and his task is to modify the old articles in order to the historical data always serve the current path of the Party. Smith is a diligent and hard worker but he actually hates his party and hugs the dream of a coup against Big Brother.
