City Of God is not your ordinary Hollywood crappy movie, it carries really deep message. This is the film which deserve 6 stars out of 5. I still remember the first time I watched City Of God. City Of God has it all, brilliant acting, nice performance and well written plot. Superb directing by Fernando Meirelles Kátia Lund - brilliant dialogues scenes. The movie with best storyline ever, best directing and really good chosen cast. I never liked Crime titles so it's fair to say i never thought I'd love City Of God. In conclusion City Of God is just absolutely awesome, that's why it is considered one of the 5 greatest movies of all time. Enjoy watching City Of God.

City of God is based on a true story that takes place in the 60';s where in the slums of Rio De Janeiro two boys growing up in the neighborhood take on different paths in life: one becomes a photographer, the other a drug dealer.
